🚨🚨🚨 Good afternoon folks. We stretched it out as long as possible but, unfortunately, we didn't get enough girls to register for our all girls league. Refunds have already been issued to all girls that are too old to play in the coed winter league. We will be reaching out to all others that registered to give them the option of a refund or to move their money over and guarantee them a roster spot for the coed winter league. 🚨🚨🚨

If you’re a girl ages 14–17 (13 if invited) and love basketball, come play with us! This is a great chance to get on the court, compete, meet new people, and have some fun.

When attending the games today please bring your drinks in a cup with a sealed lid (Stanley, yeti, etc.). They are cracking down due to spills in the bleachers. If you show up with a cup that doesnt fit the criteria you will not be able to bring it into the gym. Thank you for your help and understanding.

🏀🏀🏀 Good evening parents and fans. Playoff time is upon us. We know that this means that emotions will be high and there will be competition in the air. Please be reminded that we are there to cheer for our team as well as others. We are not there to cheer AGAINST the other teams, their fans or their individual players. I feel and hope that we all know the difference. Disrespect toward or yelling at our officials is also unacceptable. If you are viewed by the board as being unsportsmanlike you will be made to leave the building. Please don't be a disruption this weekend and cause attention to be taken away from these players and coaches that have been working so hard in order to finish their season off strong. **Also, outside of their game time, children under the age of 14 are not to be at the gym without a parent. It is not the responsibility of coaches and board members to keep an eye on unsupervised children throughout the day. 🏀🏀🏀

Let's make this weekend great for our players, coaches, parents, and fans. I hope to see everyone out there cheering on these young athletes!

Good morning folks. Today is the day!
Registration for our girls league opens tonight at 7pm on GWMAA.ORG. 14-17 yr olds will be able to register right away. 13 yr olds interested in playing will be lead to the "waitlist" and if chosen, a link will be sent out to the email given when the time comes. Age cut off is October 1st. We are really looking forward to this next chapter of West Melbourne Basketball!
