Our Mom

She makes a really awesome stew,

Missing you

I drove by your house today,
Hoping to catch a glimpse of the friend that once cared,
There are so many things I wanted to stop and say,
I’ve been thinking about all the conversations we’ve shared,
All the laughter and tears, my best friend in so many ways,
I wonder what you would have said if you heard a knock had I dared,
But instead I turned around and just drove away.
