Art Camp is over for the summer but we had a great time! This is some of the impressive work the students did inspired by Helen Frankenthaler, a great abstract expressionist who is famous for her canvas staining technique and love of color. After painting these canvases the students made them into sketchbook covers. We are registering for fall art classes for first grade through middle school right now at AliceCarrollStudio. Summer Camp Week 3...The shoe painting has been going well...Looney Tunes, Bambi, Mickey, The Minions, Tweetie, Nemo and Kung Fu Panda have all shown up this summer. Along with the real raccoon, box turtle, ground hog, chipmunks, squirrels, birds and bunnies. It's like a zoo in my backyard. So no camps for a few weeks but I've been working on some heart paintings (great for shower and wedding gifts) and the origami video project. So much fun! Remember, "Earth without art is just eh".( My favorite t-shirt of the moment.)
