ine trees straight from the farm, personally hand-picked and cut by the owner. The Barn on New River boasts a refined elegance with soaring ceilings, elegant chandeliers, and stunning acid stained concrete floors. The barn is constructed in the appealing post and beam style, leaving it as the perfect backdrop for the memories of your special event.

We have seen multiple requests for a traditional receiving line this year- and we totally see why. A receiving line gives the couple an opportunity to personally thank each guest, and snap a photo with them at the same time!

Our tips ⬇️

-Do a receiving line at a time where guests are already moving from one location to another, this feels the most natural and least forced.

-Consider entering the cocktail hour after the ceremony, entering the reception after cocktail hour, or on the way to the buffet or dinner stations.

-Receiving lines have a reputation for taking ✨forever✨ but YOU set the tone. A quick hug and photo keeps the line moving without eating away at your event timeline or causing boredom for guests. Try to stay away from sustained conversations to keep the line moving.

-If you don't have time to "table touch" during dinner due to photos or preference, this is a great opportunity to ensure every guest gets to see the Bride and Groom personally.
