Tonight!!
It has been a hot month, in every sense. We roasted our way through a heat wave that felt personally targeted, “fall” is apparently around the corner (allegedly — LA does not believe in seasons, only vibes), and through all of it, Q***r Roast for the Straight Host is doing something we’ve never done before: playing a brand new room.
After cutting our teeth at The Pack Theatre, selling out at The Elysian’s Vault Theater, and then heating things up at Beaches Tropicana in WeHo, we’re making our very first appearance at The Lab, Hollywood Improv.
If you haven’t seen it: stand-up sets, broken up by increasingly deranged dares and other challenges nobody predicted. We’ve made people recreate entire TV shows from memory. We’ve forced wigs onto people mid-set. It’s chaos, it’s hot (see: heat wave), and this month, it’s happening somewhere new.
