I've been watching Hacks (on MAX) I can very much relate as I am feeling like I'm aging out from an activity that I have literally given my entire life to. In the show, it has the main character who is in her late 60s still hoping to land that dream job. In the final episodes after many turmoil in her life, she finally gets that dream job.

Personally, I have had much success in my career I have won championships, I have lead world class finalist down that tunnel at WGI. I was responsible for several class champions in both drum Corps and marching band.

None of those accolades really matter to me that much currently. I show up, I do my work, I research, I try to be as clever and creative as I can, but mostly, I use this platform to inspire young people to become even better adults and mentor young designers to create content that has never been seen before.

I may not ever get to my dream job, however, I will never stop doing the very best job I can, with what I have to work with.

As the Kate Bush song says "There's a lot of life in you yet" and let's all remember that the world champions Currently have the dream team that keeps making it happen year after year and for, that I am hopeful.

This week (actually today) starts another school year, brand new fall shows, and creating some pretty cool indoor shows which come later in the year.

As I say to myself every night before I go to sleep, "did I kick butt today?" And hope that I wake up to do it all over again. Love you all very much.❤️
