Still feeling inspired by PDC Student Day! đź’™

We welcomed the next generation of designers to the Pacific Design Center for a day dedicated to learning, creativity, connection and discovering what it means to be part of the design industry.

Our students spent the day inside our showrooms, meeting industry professionals, gaining real-world insight, building their portfolios and making connections that we hope will continue well beyond Student Day.

A huge thank you to our participating showrooms, partners and design community for opening their doors and sharing their time and expertise. And most importantly, thank you to all of the students who joined us and brought such incredible energy to PDC.

We can’t wait to see what you do next. 💙

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Fall Market 2026: DESIGN AMERICANA and made the Pacific Design Center come alive with incredible conversations, creativity, connection and, of course, great design.

We’re so grateful to our showrooms, speakers, designers, editors, guests and the entire Los Angeles design community for showing up and making this year’s Fall Market one to remember.

What makes design distinctly American, and who gets to define it? Moderated by Wendy Goodman, Design Editor of New York Magazine and Curbed, this thought-provoking discussion brings together an extraordinary cross section of creative voices: Windsor Smith, Interior Designer and Founder of Windsor Smith Home; Stephen Earle, Principal of Stephen Earle Design; Hutton Wilkinson, President and Creative Director of Tony Duquette, Inc.; and Richard Manion, Principal of Richard Manion Architecture, Inc.

Moving from the singular object to the room, residence, building, and landscape, the conversation will explore the people, places, traditions, and cultural forces that have shaped America’s visual identity. Together, the panelists will consider what we preserve, what we reinterpret, and what we build next, revealing how the choices made by designers, architects, builders, collectors, makers, and storytellers reflect not only how we live, but who we are and who we are becoming.
