Sneak peak! I so enjoyed the process and effect of the more loose application of glaze that I experimented with in this previous mixed media work called “Swirls - Multi” (29”x 23”x 2”), that I’ve started work on a large multi-piece composition of individual “swirls” (15”x 15” each).😅🤞🎉

I'm happy to be participating in the benefit auction for the Los Angeles Art Association. "Stacked Grid - Pink/Red" (15"x15"x2") is Lot # 1011 of the Silent Auction.

The event is happening this Saturday, August 5th, at Burke Triolo Studio in S Pasadena. I will be happy to meet anyone who can come!

Save the date! My large ceramic disc composition, Jill, will be part of the All Media 2022 show at the Irvine Fine Arts Center in Irvine, CA. The show will run July 9 to October 8, with an opening on July 9th, from 2-4 pm. I hope to see you there!🤓

Hi! I’d like you to meet two new artworks: Jack & Jill. After creating Jack, I liked him so much that I created his softer counterpart, Jill, different in form but same in color scheme.🤓

Dimensions for Jack: 52”x 52”x 1.25
Each rectangle is 11” x 16”
Dimensions for Jill: 43”x 58”x 1.25
Each disc is 13” diameter
Each ceramic rectangle /disc is backed by a wood frame, and floats one inch off the wall.

Thrilled to share with you that my ceramic wall piece, Hot & Dusty (52”x40”x1.5”) has been selected to be part of the online abstract art exhibition put on by the Los Angeles Art Association called “Make Plain”. This artwork is made up of nine 11”x16” rectangles, each mounted on wood frames to hang about 1.5” off the wall. You can see this and other art at https://www.laaa.org/make-plain.
