For Halloween in 2020, I painted my costume to become Yayoi Kusama. She has always been an inspiration with her attention to detail using repetitive patterns. Her art spoke to the way I see life and always brought me joy. My friends joined me in becoming masterpieces. Laura Grier was a classic Mondrian and I airbrushed Matt’s face to pay homage to Magritte’s The Son of Man (Le fils de l’homme). May Kusama rest in polka dots! 🔴🟡🔵⚫️⚪️

Send someone a touch of joy. I invite you to select a flower and share this post with someone to let them know that you are thinking of them.

When you receive flowers, it automatically brightens your day and makes you feel loved and appreciated.

I am starting a share. Let’s see how many people we can lift up today!

All paintings are oil on canvas. DM if you have interest in having on of these paintings living with you.

I’m excited to get back into the studio on Friday to paint this beautiful Rockii Tree Peony.

At this time, I am painting for myself. Paying attention to what brings me joy, how I get lost in time, how sitting in silence for hours while painting is anything but quiet because I am left with my own thoughts. The channel is open. I am painting to receive that spark, that magic that people call inspiration. While painting, I am not alone, I am with all of my different selves in other dimensions having telepathic conversations. And yes, I paint sober. ✨ 🪐 💫 🚀
