It saddens my soul and heart to let go of one of the most beautiful human beings I’ve ever encountered. Ms. Tia was everything! An amazing mother, wife, friend, producer, creator, set designer, Captain at LAPD, and so much more. She brightened any room she entered and her marriage to her husband Pjai Morris] was what true love and relationship looks like. She took me in as a friend, family member and co-creator and for that I will be forever grateful. Her name will live forever in every production that I write from now on to remind me of the beauty of her spirit. Until we meet again Momma Tia you will always be remembered. God gained an amazing Angel and we lost a beautiful spirit who now will live in our hearts. Pjai Morris]

Words can’t express the deep hurt and pain and heart break that is felt finding out that yesterday we lost an Angel, a blessing, a friend, a supporter, a co-creator and one of the most beautiful spirits I have ever encountered. From the time that I first met Ms. Tia she was the most motherly, God fearing, encouraging warrior that I have ever met. She and her husband Pjai supported me and this production when they didn’t have to, loved me when they didn’t need to, and were the kind of people that show you that God is truly within them. We wouldn’t have been able to put on “Misunderstood”without her and the amazing set design that she established for us. I’ll never forget her and every production I do from now on will always have a character named Tia in salute to her. Until we meet again we love you…. 🙏🏾
