As many of you know, I'm an ardent heat embosser, especially when it comes to sentiments on my cards. I just love that crisp, shiny finish!

Do you have a reinker for your Versamark pad? And when was the last time you actually reinked it?

I was topping mine up today and realized it's one of those supplies we use all the time but rarely think about until our embossing starts looking a little patchy! ✨

A quick change in focus today to create some simple birthday cards! 🎂🎈

Tomorrow I'll be helping with the Paramount Day of Service, and one of the volunteer opportunities is making cards for the residents at the Motion Picture & Television Fund. I'm super thrilled to have been asked to help with this amazing event. 💕

A few more samples to make and I'll be ready to go!

For these cards, I pulled out some retired designer series paper that includes a coordinating sheet of ephemera. Between the patterned paper and ready-to-use images, everything comes together so much quicker... ephemera for the win! 🙌

A little fussy cutting whilst Amelia attends Flag Football tryouts this week! 🏈✂️🚲

Car office at its finest... clipboard balanced, scissors in hand, and a stack of designer paper keeping me company. 😂 Thankfully, the weather has cooled off beautifully this evening, making it the perfect excuse to sneak in a little creative time while I wait.

Sometimes creativity doesn't happen in the craft room. Sometimes it happens in the driver's seat! 🤣

You know that feeling when you have a vision for a card... you can see it so clearly in your mind... but translating that vision into cardstock, paper, and layers? The challenge is real! 😅

And then suddenly, it all clicks into place. The details work, the design comes together, and you want to squeal with delight and give that little card a squeeze because you're just so excited with how it turned out.

Well... that was me today!!

Design #3 for my Waterside Retreat Card Class is officially done, and I am absolutely thrilled with it. I can't show you just yet... partly because I don't want to spoil the surprise, and partly because it's currently being held together with Post-it Note Tape! 😂

Just trust me when I say... this one was worth the struggle. 🌿⚓💙
