Celebrate West Hartford Celebrate! West Hartford returns June 6 & 7, 2026 Celebrate West Hartford is a two-day festival held annually in early June for over three decades.

The event attracts nearly 40,000 visitors from the greater Hartford area and beyond for the award-winning arts & crafts show, carnival rides and amusements, live music, a 5K and more! The business and non-profit expo provides sponsors, civic and service organizations, recreation groups and charitable foundations a way to increase public awareness of their important work. a popular multi-generation event with something for everyone in the family. There is no admission charge for the event and many of the activities are free. Entertainment on Saturday includes performances by numerous local school jazz ensembles. Professional bands, as well as additional community groups, perform on Sunday afternoon. Celebrate West Hartford has garnered many awards in the Best Festival and Local Annual Event categories by Hartford Magazine.

🚨 TRAFFIC ADVISORIES 🚨

Thursday, June 4:
Please expect traffic delays between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM during the Law Enforcement Torch Run. Officers and participants will travel westbound on Prospect Avenue to Farmington Avenue, then southbound on South Main Street. Motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes and use caution in the area.

Sunday Community 5K:
Please be advised that temporary road closures and traffic delays are expected on Sunday morning during the Community 5K event. The race begins at 9:00 AM. A route map is attached for reference. Officers will be stationed throughout the course to assist with traffic control and pedestrian safety.

We appreciate the community’s patience and cooperation during both events.
