Reshare • Craic On The Coast Podcast WE’RE HITTING THE ROAD! 🎙️☘️

This Monday, September 7, Craic on the Coast will be at The Galway Girl in Plymouth, recording and taking in an afternoon of Irish storytelling, strength and tradition.

🇮🇪 Seán Ó Coistealbha — legendary seanchaí, storyteller & author
🪨 David Keohan — Indiana Stones, stone lifter & heritage preserver

Stone lifting. Storytelling. Songs. Poetry. Irish heritage. And, of course, plenty of craic.

As the official podcast of the AOH of the South Shore, we want to capture the people and traditions keeping Irish culture alive in our community — and this is going to be a great one.

📅 Monday, September 7
🕐 Starting at 1:00 PM
📍 The Galway Girl | 114 Water Street, Plymouth

Come down, say hello and join us for the day.

Wherever we go, the Craic follows! 🎙️

Repost • The Herald A new tartan has been unveiled to celebrate the growing friendship between Glasgow and Boston.

Named ‘Twinned in Tartan’, the design marks Glasgow’s historic twinning with the American city ahead of an official twinning ceremony.

It also pays tribute to the Tartan Army’s presence in Boston during the World Cup, when Scotland supporters helped strengthen links between the two cities.

The tartan was created by Buchanan Galleries in partnership with Scottish tartan specialists Slanj.

Its design combines colours from the flags of Glasgow and Boston, alongside a reference to Fenway Park’s famous Green Monster.

The design reflects the sporting heritage of Boston and the cultural links that have developed between the two cities.

Repost • David Keohan This is going to be an amazing event at the Lowell Irish Festival here’s the promo!

“Located at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium, the Lowell Irish Festival features a family- friendly and fun-filled day of live Irish music from national, regional, and local acts, Irish-inspired culinary and beverage offerings, artisan vendors, family activities, Irish step dancing, and more! The day-long event, taking place September 12, 2026, is spread out across the Auditorium grounds – inside and outdoors – and is open to families and groups of all ages free of charge, taking its place as one of the Mill City’s great annual cultural events.”
I’ll be talking on the main stage, doing book signings of” The Wind Beneath the Stone “ and chatting with everyone on the day. A mighty day of culture, music and craic awaits you!
SEE you in Massachusetts on SEPTEMBER 12th!
