This last year was incredibly hard for my dad. I know he would have never wanted to suffer the way he did. I think I’m still in shock and honestly don’t even know how to process that he’s really gone. I just know our hearts hurt, and I’m going to miss him more than I can ever explain.

I hope he is finally at peace.
