She is a passionate lover of her God and King, and the two are one: His heart beating within her. He is a warring King, therefore she is a warring bride. Constantly watching over her in glory, we see the King, who burns with jealous love for her whom His blood purchased.
Although she can’t see Him, He is as near as her next breath.
Father, we thank You, that from the foundation of time,You wrote in the books of destiny of a bride without spot, wrinkle or blemish known as Your church, and we have the privilege of living in the hour in which You are bringing her to maturity.

For years I have had request to create a bride with combat boots; I had tried several times without any success. In this image, I felt it finally came together.The bride is tying her boot with one hand at the ready to pick up her sword nearby. Her ring declares, “I am my beloved’s and He is mine.”

She has the emblem of her King imprinted on her boot and Ephesians 5:27 engraved upon the sheath of her sword.“that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.”
