A little backstory to G&L Creations. In 2014, Mike, our leader, had a heart attack at the age of 38, which made him go from working seven days a week to sitting in cardio rehab a couple of times a week. To pass the time, he would go out to the shop and start building. He had met an amazing man, whom we call our friend, who has built toys for years. Mr. Andy gave Mike some pointers, and Mike started adding new things. Then, the rest of the family slowly started going one by one to the shop to build and help out. In 2017, an amazing lady said, “Why don’t you come set up at the craft show?” Well, little did we know that Jamie would help start something that we love to do. G&L Creations is truly a family-oriented business. The saying “Built with LOVE” came from my dad; it was something he would always tell the boys when he helped them build their derby cars. But without the amazing customers who believe in us, we would be nothing! Here are some of the first builds that Mike did.
