This is Day 90 of from the 23rd of May. ⁠

As I have been working on a self portrait project, there are many days I haven’t wanted to share for different reasons. This is one of them! It was horrifying when these bumps were expanding and multiplying, reddening and itching, like no other itch before. Of course it’s funny now that it is going away. ⁠

Tragedy + Time?⁠
⁠
Walter and Søren have been swimming with no issue.

I enveloped myself for hours and days in a ridiculous amount of algae with my entire body, to clean out the pond. And then, and THEN! I sat outside in the sun and let everything bake in. ⁠

Now to keep my skin from scarring. Any natural remedy suggestions welcome!⁠

Yesterday I went to swim but found myself entangled in the algae of winter’s slumber instead — so I swirled it around my limbs, pulled it off, and let it dry along the rocked edge. ⁠

The frogs watched from their little caves. The fish fled. The dust made it impossible to see. I was down there swirling — a thing of the body, with a place for the mind to go.⁠

What is it to investigate the self. I’ve circled around so many things, which is part of the discomfort in this. Stranger, again.⁠

What is time anyway? I don’t know if I shared this journal that I made last autumn and straight away left out in a storm inadvertently. But I’ve filled it up, of course, and made new journal(s)? since. and I are FINALLY putting the video together for YouTune! In it I share how to make a raised flower in the spine and put the book together AND I show what the journal looks like finished — inside and out! ⁠
