Company members work alongside guest professional artists and choreographers from diverse artistic backgrounds and experiences. As a result the Brandywine Ballet has established itself as a formidable platform for dance training and performance in the Greater Philadelphia region. In recent years, the company has succeeded in expanding its repertoire, premiering exciting new works by Resident Chore
ographer Nancy Page, as well as guest choreographers Matthew Neenan (Ballet X), Ronen Koresh (Koresh Dance Company), Meredith Rainey (Carbon Dance Theatre), and Christopher Fleming (Ballet Fleming). By arrangement with The George Balanchine Trust, Brandywine Ballet has also performed several works in accordance with Balanchine Style® and Balanchine Technique® Service standards. Brandywine Ballet was recognized in Dance Magazine, a national dance publication, for the company’s thought-provoking mix of classical and contemporary ballet, and was recently selected for WHYY’s Experience “video postcard” series. Brandywine Ballet is a public not-for-profit institution operating under section 501 (c) (3) of the IRS code and is supported by admission fees, subscription sales, and contributions.
