So a collector came to the studio to see some art and watch a demo last week.

Literally as her car pulled it, our power went out!

Panic!

Fortunately, I have 3 little generators that could light the studio just enough to see my work and light my demo space. The lighting was actually quite romantic.

I loved to hear the ohh and ahhs from my collector as I made this painting. She fell in love with it right away and decided she wanted it.

It was only right that I name her When The Lights Go Out

I have made 2 book nooks in my life. I think I need to make more

I love getting to visit this one at my mother in laws house. It just sits there all magical on her book shelf.
She loves adirondack chairs, so I did my best to make her one.

I actually gave away all of my supplies to make book nooks because I felt fluid art was the only thing I'd ever do again.
At the time, I didn't realize that it's a good thing to have more than one medium to practice. Good for the brains!

Myself and fellow talented artist, Tara Vadella had lots of fun with this one. She had a vision for my part and she nailed the vision that I had for her part. Those translucent flowers floating like jellyfish! Bravo Tara!🤌💋

Sharing an older piece

I am going through some 💩 right now and this piece just feels right to share. It can't all be sunshine and rainbows, how boring would that be?!

Although I'm going through stuff, it will pass, it always does. So I ride this wave for now.🌊

If you're going through 💩, you are NEVER alone. Someone somewhere has been there. I take such comfort in that. That's why I started the artist support group almost 2 years ago!

I won't sell this piece, at least not yet, but I do have prints available. Just let me know

Sometimes things just work themselves out

I put these 2 on my shelf at the same time to start cutting in negative space and I saw it.

They were meant to be together

It took a lot of hours to make it look like one was connected to the other, but I did it!

Just seemed right to call this diptych, Love Connection

On the left is a 20×20 deep canvas and the right is a 20×24 deep canvas. Both in their own handmade wooden floating frame
