Tonight, we want to give a very special thank you to our 2026 Hoover’s Hometown Days Volunteer Committee. Your time, hard work, ideas, and dedication throughout the year are what make this celebration possible. So much happens behind the scenes that most people never see, and we are incredibly grateful for every hour you put in to make this year's event such a success. 👏

What a weekend! Hoover-Ball doesn’t happen without an incredible amount of teamwork, and I want to take a moment to thank everyone who helped make this year’s tournament such a success!

👏 Tony Senio & Jared Tylee for running another great tournament Saturday!

🏆 The 13 men’s teams and 6 women’s teams who came ready to compete, have fun and keep this unique West Branch tradition going.

💪 The nearly 150 youth Hoover-Ball players who brought so much energy and enthusiasm to the courts until the rain came Friday!

🛠️ Mike Johnston and his crew for all the work that went into getting the courts built and ready to go.

🇺🇸 The Army and Navy for putting on an incredible exhibition game, and to everyone who helped make that special matchup happen. It was definitely a highlight of the weekend!

🚧West Branch Public Works for the countless hours and manpower that go into making an event of this size possible. There is SO much behind-the-scenes work that doesn’t get seen, and it is very much appreciated.

🙌 All of our youth Hoover-Ball clinic and game volunteers for giving their time and helping introduce so many kids to the game.

🎉 The Hoover's Hometown Days committee for everything you do to make this entire celebration happen and for helping make Hoover-Ball such a big part of it.

❤️ And finally, my family. Thank you for helping above and beyond, giving up your time and pitching in wherever needed!.

Hoover-Ball is such a unique part of West Branch and seeing so many people come together to play, organize, cheer, and celebrate is what makes it so special.

Hoover-Ball, a tradition rooted in the town’s identity as the birthplace of President Herbert Hoover, draws crowds each year for the national competition. This year, Army and Navy teams participated for the first time.
