I grew up a 4-H kid.
Showing cattle against my brother, sister and cousins and all the friends we made along the way

This year my son Carter followed in my footsteps and filled this mommas heart with so much pride

4-H is based around community. Working together to make your community better. A huge part of this is volunteerism.

I might not be able to donate thousands of dollars to something near to my heart but I can create something that someone else is willing to pay thousands for!

We had 2 salsas (one hot and one not so much) bring in $110 and $75 each

We bought a jar of spicy canned pickles for $40

AND

The stained glass stars and strips cow sold for $3,150.

All proceeds will go to the Cedar Co Fair ♥️

at the Cedar County Fair
In Tipton, Iowa 5:30pm

Brothers Market Stage in
the Custom Builder’s Pavilion
(just south of the beer garden)

The cow was designed and decorated by Kelsi Lynch of West Branch, Iowa

The cow is around 150lbs of cement with pieces of stained glass cut down and glued to create a mosaic to celebrate America’s 250th birthday!!
It took 41 hours to decorate

Clear coat was provided by Bow Tie Automotive out of Tipton, Iowa

(recommended to store cow inside during harsh Iowa winters)

Payments can be: Cash, Check or card.
If you would like to bid but are unable to attend the auction please contact the fair board at 563-886-6170 prior to auction to set up terms

The fair starts Wednesday July 8th

All proceeds will go to the Cedar County Fair

The cedar Co fair is a 501(c)3 non profit and is tax exempt

Thank you to my amazing husband

I took the kids on vacation out of state while the cow was not complete.

He sanded it down and washed it off to get it cleaned

He got paint and painted the base and udder 🤣

And delivered it to Tipton to be clear coated

He puts up with my CRAZY ideas and helps see them to the finish line!
