Sorry for the late update, everyone. It's been...well...it's 2020. I think we've said all we need to about that.
I've put off making this announcement because, well, it's been hard, but Phantoms has finally had it's final year. The challenges were great, and the scares were plenty, and I have always loved halloween and still continue to teach and learn and promote as I go along. I am appreciative of all my volunteers, past and present, as you undoubtedly made the show what it was, and I thank you all for the sacrifices you made to help us help local non-profits over the last 15 or so years.It's been an incredible journey and I am grateful for all the opportunities and friendships it has opened up.
I am throwing in the silver mask finally for a number of reasons, Covid being among them, but my decline in health and my employment shift are definitely up in the top ten reasons. I have, as you know, had a sort of wandering show. While this was fun and posed unique challenges every year, it also meant I had to create a unique haunt every year, and it simply come down to lacking in help and resources to do so. The strain on my life, on my bank account, and my family has been pretty significant, and I owe it to my family to be a better husband and father. Our haunts in the past few years have raised money for area Wisconsin Historical Societies, The Humane Society, The FDL Solutions Center, The WB Downtown Theater restoration project, and Skate country, just to name a few, and if you enjoyed any of those please continue to help donate to those causes as you'd see fit. There is a lot of need out there we only grow as a community by supporting one another.
But the building, and creating, THAT was always my love, and I'm going to continue to do so, building and teaching for other haunts and continuing to learn new things myself as I do.

Not only will I be there, lurking in some shadow (or working the counter if I'm on bad behaviour lol) a lot of my old props ended up there, and after a quick walk thru I even saw a bit of my style influenced on it. It's gonna be a good one for sure this year! (Opens October 2nd)
