Mural Update!
At the beginning of the school year Drexel had asked CHS Art Club to create a mural for Main Street, and my art students were up for the challenge!

From brainstorming ideas, creating concept designs, proposing our ideas, adjusting to feedback, to finally painting the mural; Drexel was with us every step of the way (including delivery of materials and supplies). This opportunity provided my students with so many great lessons about the business side of creating art for a client. Thank you to Drexel for providing this opportunity to my students and the generous donation to the CHS Art Club!

The mural is currently on display on Main Street between Blue Door and The Pan and Parlor!

This is the first time our VAC team will be competing in critical thinking at State this Friday!

At regionals the students had to design an outfit for their coach to model. This was all done within 1 hour of time with limited materials.
