The folks at Miller Coors met with the folks at WAMI (Wisconsin Area Music Industry) and this amazing opportunity came to fruition. A one of a kind music related collectible piece. All of the proceeds from the auction of this unique juke box will support WAMI programming and statewide initiatives. Please check it out and share this opportunity to those who might be interested!

Tyler Fassnacht is a hero in the Madison punk and indie scene. Known for his bands Baby Tyler, Celebrity Sightings, and Proud Parents, Fassnacht has a roots/country band called TS Foss that showcases a different side to his songwriting. At times quiet and introspective, at times noisy, TS Foss sways and creaks with country punk energy. I'm just going to say it: if Uncle JIM was around in the 90s, they'd be playing Lollapalooza AND Lilith Fair. You know what I mean. Alternative rock, smart, creative, led by vocalist/songwriter Janie Triebold. This is jammy and cool music, perfect for summer days. Uncle JIM is part of a small group of "outside of Madison" folk/pop and country artists who quietly work their day jobs, then hit the small venues and festivals on weekends, spreading joy and good vibes. What can we say about Brett Newski and the Bad Inventions? He is the realest of the real in the midwest indie world. Brett has been writing catchy alternative rock and folk tunes for over a decade, and touring that whole time. Sometimes as a solo artist, other times with a backing band. We were fortunate to have him play at HomeGrown in 2019 (aka "the Before Times") and he's been wanting to come back ever since. Well. Brett is currently touring to support a brand new album, Have a Thing, Miss Your Moment, Wait for the Revival--a self-recorded, self-financed folk/punk/lo-fi/pop gem. You can't stream it anywhere. Long Mama drove up from Milwaukee and played at HomeGrown back in 2023. I've seen them a half-dozen times since then, and they keep getting better and better. Singer/songwriter Kat Wodtke leads the band through bittersweet alternative country tunes. And the band? Indie roots legends of the Wisconsin scene: Andrew Koenig on guitar, Nick Lang on drums, and upright bass player Samual Odin. Dandelion Delivery Service is one of many incredible Stevens Point bands we've had at the fest. DDS, led by dervish/fiddle player/singer/guitarist Sheilagh Dandy Lyon, describes themselves as "Elven-Cowgirl-SpaceRock". SO BE IT! Whatever you call them, if you like to DANCE, they are your jam.
