It's almost time for one of our favorite educational outreach programs: Young People's Concert! 🎶🏫

Students in grades K–6 from across the Cape gather for a free performance designed especially for them. This year’s program features Leonard Bernstein’s "Symphonic Dances" from West Side Story and the "Carmen Dance Suite" based on George Bizet’s opera. Students will consider how music influences dance styles and rhythms—how can dance tell stories?

Teachers, please register your classes if you haven't yet. We can't wait to perform for you! 💙

Up next for CSP! 🎸🕯️✨

Experience the transcendent artistry of internationally acclaimed South African guitarist Derek Gripper on Wednesday, October 14 at Eastham’s Chapel in the Pines 🎸🕯️🌲

This special candlelit evening brings Gripper’s extraordinary guitar work to an intimate Cape Cod setting, all in support of WOMR. Known for translating the dazzling, deeply layered music of the West African kora onto solo classical guitar, Gripper has created a sound that feels both ancient and entirely new. His music draws listeners into a world where South African roots, Malian musical traditions, classical technique, improvisation, and meditative storytelling meet in one extraordinary performance.

⭐ This performance is a fundraiser for WOMR, helping support the station’s mission of presenting local, eclectic, entertaining, informative, and educational programming for Cape Cod and beyond. Your ticket purchase directly supports the kind of independent cultural voice that keeps our community connected, curious, and alive with music. ⭐
