We’re thrilled to share this news with you all. Different Wrld is moving in! Those of you who are familiar with already have goosebumps and the rest of you will soon. A truly unique space within the old Mothlight walls- rebuilding the collaborative + creative + supportive community we all miss back up with new energy. What you have to look forward to; “a community hub that provides open access to creative equipment like computers, cameras, and video gear, as well as a place for community discussion and creative education.” There will be music, there will be drinks, there will be love and warmth and Pilipinx FOOD thanks to the incomparable .

honestly never in my wildest dreams did i think we would be here.
in no way have we arrived but this feel very right
so many sacrifices & moments that lead us here.

for those who don’t know : the mothlight was west asheville’s beloved local music venue -- a space where we saw our friends play, fell in love, danced our asses off, fell out of love, supported local makers at craft markets, learned more about our community from panel discussions, and learned more about ourselves. it’s a space we can’t live without.
