Today marks 22 years of me making bad decisions with my clients! Seems like just yesterday I was tattooing floral tramp stamps and tribal sleeves for free on people during my apprenticeship and making needles for the shop. Hand tracing stencils without a thermofax with no computer in sight. Cherry Creek plastered walls with sounds of loud machines pushing Starbright Red into skin. Stacks of tattoo magazines paged through in awe of the industry greats while hearing the craziest stories told about the industry I was trying to prove I belonged in. 6+ nights of the week going to bars and passing out business cards to promote. It was a constant grind back then. We didn’t get to specialize in a single style and had to learn how to do everything to make money. There have been ups and downs over the years, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Thank you to everyone that allow me to continue this passion enabling your bad decisions!!! This absolute badass of a woman not only beat cancer’s ass, but wanted to cover her scar with a huge Facehugger from the movie Alien FOR HER FIRST TATTOO!!!!!! When she first came it, I printed it the size of a softball and she said she wanted it bigger. I blew it up 20% and she said she wanted it WAY bigger. I got more and more excited every time she had me blow it up 😂. Facebook won’t allow me to post a video with a picture for some reason, so I’ll post the before in the comments to see the scar we covered. Thanks for looking!

4 years ago I got to tattoo Ronnie Radke of Falling In Reverse. Loving him or hating him aside, it was a super fun experience for me! He and the band were super nice and pleasant to work with.

I don’t talk much on social media these days about my personal life, but this woman right here deserves to be acknowledged. She has been my rock and the head of my cheering section. She is supportive when I doubt myself and lifts me up when I need it. This beautiful woman and I have been watering our roots together now for four years today, and I can’t wait to watch those roots grow stronger and continue blossoming together. I love you, darlin! Happy anniversary 😘
