It’s been a very long time since I’ve posted on this page, so I wanted to take a moment to catch everyone up on what’s been going on.
I’m extremely behind where I wanted to be with this year’s light show. I do plan on putting together a Halloween show, but unfortunately, it won’t be as big or complete as last year’s show.
Right now, I’m working on repairs to several of the display elements, including the big 800-light screen that was on the house. I’m not sure that it will be ready in time for Halloween, but I’m going to do everything I can to get it repaired and working 100%.
I know a lot of people are already looking forward to seeing the lights, and I appreciate everyone’s patience. This display has always been about putting something fun out there for the community, and I want to make sure that whatever I put up is something I’m proud of.
Stay tuned for more updates and, of course, the announcement of when the lights will officially be running.
And honestly, the neighbors have already started putting out their decorations, and every time I drive by, it’s another reminder of just how far behind I am.
I’m working on it. I promise.
