Long before “collaboration” became a buzzword, Lewis VanDercar’s surreal world was colliding with Florida metal.

Album covers became friendships. Musicians became regulars at Quail Hollow. And somewhere between the art, the music, and a handwritten “To Ronie,” Nasty Savage became part of the Warlock House story.

🌿 Grow Your Wellness: Society Garlic 💜

Pretty, practical, and wonderfully pungent—Society Garlic (Tulbaghia violacea) earns its place in the garden. Its leaves and delicate purple blooms are edible with a garlicky flavor, while its strong scent can help discourage some unwanted garden pests.

It also makes a beautiful low-maintenance border plant and handles our Florida growing conditions beautifully. 🌱

🗝️ ARCHIVE DIVE No. 001: SAUCERS, SYNTHS & THE WARLOCK

Long before the Warlock House had an Instagram account…the cameras were already rolling. 🎥

Hidden in the archives is this wonderfully strange little time capsule: Copter hanging out with Lewis VanDercar at his Quail Hollow home, surrounded by the art, landscape and world Lewis was creating here.

The footage features Rodney Best on drums, J. David Boyko on guitar and Doroccas on synths — with Harobed & Kimber credited simply as “doing stuff.” 😂

And somehow, the outtakes survived.

They're weird. They're wonderful. They're very Warlock House.

After welcoming the community for the first time last year, we’re honored to host our, 2nd Annual Enchanted Garden Gathering celebrating our The Plantree Nursery, our boutique and unique beneficial plant nursery on our property.

The longtime home of Florida surrealist artist & sculptor Lewis VanDercar continues to evolve — and this gathering is part of bringing the space back to life in a new way 🌿

On April 18th, we invite you to step into the gardens, explore the statuary, and experience the property as it continues its next chapter
