I’ll start…
👉 One of my first campaigns there was a shop... in that shop were some rings... those rings were described as follows:
A ring on a green finger with a long red nail
A plain band on a weathered finger with dirt under the nails
A silver band with intricate engravings like a wedding band.

Which do you pick? I picked the plain band on the weathered finger. DM thought I was an idiot. He said I should have picked the one on the green finger with the long red nail. I told him it looked cursed to me 😅 I missed out on a magic item that day.

I’ll start…
👉 The windmill in curse of Strahd. We were all level 3 and assumed it would be geared for level 3 but it was a level 7 encounter. They (spoilers so I won't say who they is) wiped the floor with us. Everyone was mad at the DM so he retconned it to be dream sequence, haha.

👉 I'm sadly in between games, but the most recent goal was to save her fellow characters from themselves. Yes, she was a holier than thou paladin who assumed everyone else was self-destructive. 😂
