Is it a moth? A butterfly? Who knows but I’m glad this necklace is inching closer to being complete. That adorable little white buffalo cab on the left there has been a little challenge - even managed to take one final trip under a shelf tonight before I got it set in the bezel. White Buffalo from (left) and I believe (right). Natural Gobi Desert turquoise in the middle from Slow made and hand made in sterling silver; the necklace is just under 17” in length and will be available for purchase shortly.

Went to the grocery store and found the cab I searched all over for today in my pocket. Yes, the pants that I was wearing when searching for that “safe place”. Remind me that I just put the cab in the pocket of my vest when I can’t find it tomorrow, okay? These white buffalo cabs are going to be the death of me but I think the necklace will be worth all the mental shenanigans.

In Winthrop for another fantastic workshop with - my brain started off super slow but then this chonky little creature appeared and magic began happening. Today I formed the body sections, the fat little b***y, and the head and of my Thai Red Springtail. Tomorrow, I’ll work on the short legs and the kinetics which will allow this guy to wiggle and waddle its way into your heart. Or your hair.

Alright my lovely lapidary friends - I need some help. While working on a necklace that would feature these three stones, I realized the smaller white buffalo cab has a fracture that I’m pretty sure is going to break completely. Anyone happen to have a cute little pear shaped drop that’s white buffalo or something similar kicking around that I could purchase? It’s about 19.75mm x 11.5mm at the widest and about 3mm at the narrowest and 4mm thick.
