TOMORROW‼️ FREE ENTRY STREET FIGHTER TOURNAMENT‼️

Top 2 winners receive gift cards to TriCity Theater for the new Street Fighter move‼️(or whichever movie they'd prefer) 😃

💥A MESSAGE FROM Duke Beefhammer OUR FIGHT NIGHT ORGANIZER💥

October 14th at 6:00 p.m. Retro Rocket and I will be hosting a Street Fighter 2 Turbo tournament with free entry for gift cards redeemable to either Tri-City theater in Jackson or Silver Screen 7 in Gallipolis. First place will get a $35 gift card and the second place will get a $15 gift card. I know there are multiple versions of Street Fighter we could have run Street Fighter 6 or even an arcade emulated version of Street Fighter 2 but this is the one that the Guile actor Cody Rhodes said was his favorite so that's the tradition we will honor. It will be run on the Super Nintendo Classic version of Street Fighter 2 Turbo with provided SNES controllers. Once again this is free entry, top two will get gift cards to watch either the Street Fighter movie or any other movie of their choice. So let's have fun.

A long read, but please read.

First & most importantly, THANK YOU. Thank you for allowing me to live my dream these last 6+ years.

With that being said, after many long conversations I have made the incredibly hard decision to close the store..

I can't thank you all enough, I've been able to take care of my family by doing the thing I love for this long. I am incredibly grateful for all of you and the community we've built around this small shop in our little town.

I don't believe I've ever done business "the way you're supposed to" but I've always tried to have a place that everyone feels welcome, happy and most importantly loved. You all have definitely always made me feel that way.

The Rocket isn't completely going away, for now I'll be shifting all our focus onto online sales and shows. Keep following this page to keep track of where we'll be, we have goals set to vend at conventions & toy shows every month.

So, it's definitely not goodbye but more of a "see ya around, see ya there, see ya later"

Questions:

When's our last day? As of now our last day open will be November 7th.

Is this forever? I honestly can't say, it's entirely possible that the doors will open again but also possible they wont.

Will we still be buying? As of now the plan is YES. After a bit of time getting our footing for this new venture we plan to resume buying. More details on that to come.

Who's at fault? Absolutely no one, it's just that time.

Are we still friends? ALWAYS!
