WANDER WOMEN will be a HG Women's Project 2027 production of original work, and we are looking for short scenes, monologues, and other short theatrical pieces fitting our theme of travel written by women.

Call for submissions, writers resource, and info on writing workshops can be found at hamiltongibson.org/womens-project. (Scroll down till you see "Wander Women.")

Our informational workshop for writers was well-attended. The next 2 workshops will be for women who bring partial or full drafts. Make enough copies for all the characters since we will read them aloud, giving writers a chance to see and hear their work. I will facilitate the feedback. They will be 6-8pm Mondays, Oct. 19 and Nov. 2 in the Warehouse Gallery at 3 Central Ave.

Workshops are not a requirement. You may attend any or none. Attending workshops and getting feedback does not guarantee your work will get selected. Submission deadline is Nov. 6.

Questions? Email Wander Women Creative Director Kacy Hagan at [email protected].

These kids are rehearsing for the Autumn Chorale! Come hear them at 2:30pm Sunday, Oct. 18 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church on Pearl Street and the Green in Wellsboro.

“Hand in Hand, Song by Song” will focus on multicultural folk music, celebrating the kinds of songs that have been sung on front porches, in the family car, at protest marches, and in the shower. Besides HG Choir's keyboard accompanist, Gary Citro, the choirs will be joined by area musicians Anne Acker on upright bass, Dan Krise on mandolin and banjo, and Erinn Dobbins on violin/fiddle.

You can get tickets at https://hgp.booktix.com/dept/Perf/e/Autumn26 or at the door.

Thanks to Larry & Marian Miller for sponsoring this concert, and to Pop's Culture Shoppe for sponsoring the party afterwards in the Parish Hall.
