Big Woods Recreational Corporation Non-Profit Organization who hosts the annual "Thunder Over Big Woods."

This is a Non-Profit Organization that has been created by a group of individuals in the Big Woods Area of Menifee County Our main focus is our 4th of July show that has now become affectionately knows as "Thunder Over Big Woods." What started with $300 of fireworks piled into the trunk of a car has now grown into an event that hundreds of people attend every year.

We will have food booths, vendors and live music. Brad Alford will be the closing act and has some other musicians lined up as well.
Come out for a great time and great fireworks.

Thanks to all the folks that came out and supported us Saturday night!
Thanks to the Job Corp for helping us set up the stage.
Thanks to James Kash and the Menifee Co FFA chapter for parking cars.
Shout out to Brad Alford for taking care of the sound and music for us.
A big thanks to the vendors that came out and set up even with the potential of heavy rain.
Roger Smallwood and the deputies did a great job of keeping folks safe and the traffic moving.
Aaron Stamper always makes sure we have fire protection locked down. We also have the greatest flag set up of anyone anywhere!
Carrie Lawson and Menifee Co Tourism for stepping up and help making this happen.
I know I have forgotten some folks and I apologize. The truth is it takes the whole community and a lot of folks to make this happen.
