Most people experience Central Park surrounded by crowds.
I experienced it in silence.
At 5:30 in the morning, before sunrise, I walked through the darkness hoping to photograph one of New York City's most iconic places before millions of annual visitors arrived. As the first light filtered through the trees, the park became something entirely different—quiet, peaceful, and almost magical.
For a few brief moments, it felt as though I had all of Central Park to myself.
I hope this photograph allows you to experience that same feeling.
