The Wellesley Ballroom Dance Team (WBDT) is a dedicated group of competitive dancers specializing in all four styles: International Ballroom (Standard), International Latin, American Smooth, and American Rhythm. We train with professional coaches at MIT and compete at collegiate competitions across the East Coast. Everyone is welcome to join — we have no auditions, and our members compete at all l

The fun continues- Join us this week for MIT DANCE CAMP! This will be another fun opportunity to take intro classes, meet fellow dancers, and watch performances. Team members wearing “MIT BALLROOM” jackets will be on the 6pm bus Wednesday and Thursdays and on the 1pm bus Saturday to es**rt you to MIT and then back to campus after. All events will be outdoors, but face masks are still required. Dress appropriately for the weather!

The Wellesley Ballroom Dance Team is hosting an Open Class! Ballroom welcomes everyone regardless if you've trained in any form of dancing or have never danced! Come to Alumnae Ballroom on Monday September 13th from 5:30-7:30pm to learn some Rumba steps, watch performances, and learn about how YOU can be a part of the team ❤ No partner or dance experience necessary. We can't wait to see you all there!

Costumes are an essential part of our presentation on the dance floor and we loved getting to showcase some of our favorite pieces! While we kept things Covid safe with face masks on, we hope you still get to appreciate some of the details in our make✨! Thank you to the lovely dancers who were on campus last semester and participated in this project❤️Happy Dancing 💃🏻💃🏻
