OH MY GOODNESS!! I GOT THE DATE WRONG! Please join me THIS SUNDAY!!! (This is apparently what happens when you try to organize things on a post-surgery brain fog🥴)

Celebrate Dad with me! Sept 6, this Sunday!!!he turns 90!! Come help me celebrate and embarrass him while he hangs around for a couple of hours at Dude’s Kitchen. He’ll be holding court from 10:00-12:00 if you’d like to come share a cup of coffee, shoot the breeze, and wish him well.

Hello my lovely Picasso’s! I just wanted to touch base with you all and let you know my hip surgery went well. Thank you so much for all the thoughts and prayers! I am now up and moving at a snails pace. My current mode of transportation is not quite garden worthy but it lets me get on the porch to sip coffee and throw the ball for Annie. See you soon—be well!

I love that my studio deals in wonder.

We made a little more progress today…
Thank you for all the fantastic suggestions for those words. You’ll have to wait til the weekend to see the rest—103• makes for only morning painting, and life does get busy with other things!

Today’s progress, thanks to my brother, Rob Garrett. I still need five more “power” words. What do you recommend? Rob’s ideas of crazy and erratic might describe me, but don’t seem to fit the theme!

The studio will be open after the parade today—I’m guessing close to 12:45. Annie and I are riding in the big fish!

Thank you so much to all who participated! I love to see the young artists brightening up our town! If you missed the contest, you can ALWAYS borrow some of my chalk and decorate up my sidewalk!

Congratulations to the winners! If you haven't yet done so, come down to the studio and pick up your prize of art supplies.

The studio will be opening at 2:00 today while I’m off at meetings. Stop by and create something wonderful after that!
Normal 11:00-5:30 hours on Saturday.

Look what we did this week! I am always tickled with classes by the friendly people that choose to come in and create. You are why I LOVE my job! Three more classes on the books and more coming up—just check out the calendar pinned to the top of my page.
Come on in and let me share my creative space with you. Welcome to my happy place!
