When we WBA&other sources donated money to improve the park, we have said we have installed cameras. We said we would start to prosecute individuals, that can't respect the property...this is just 1, I'm(Flora) looking for from the camera. No names come up, police will look at video&pictures.

When we decided to put cameras around the park, it was to protect from vandalism and distruction of the park. We are in the final stages of prosecutions of the vandalism, to the park. The next problem will be spinning around in the driving lots. People may think, this doesn't cause a problem. Stones are thrown at the building plus causes a deep ripple in drives. It's not pleasant to drive over.
I'm trying to explain this so people understand our situation and goals of the park. The park property was deeded to the Weidman Business Association, from the Floyd Mitchell family. This park is for community and surrounding communities to come and enjoy. It's a safe area for all kids/adults to play on the play ground, play basketball, play pickle ball, play on the bike playground, have picnics, sit and read a book, sit and enjoy the weather, meet friends and have a party/play bingo at the Community Center.
We(WBA) have to protect the investment of the property. We can't continue to fix areas individuals destroy and not pursue the police being called, a report filed and then prosecution of distruction of property.
I have posted before the vandalism pictures...now we have vehicles spinning around in drive areas. It can't continue!
Im asking to please spread the word...
Help us protect Weidman Mitchell Memorial Park and Community Center.
