Since 1947, millions of visitors have been amazed and charmed by the world-famous mermaids who inhabit the spring. In addition, to live mermaid shows, Weeki Wachee Springs State Park offers a riverboat cruise, animal shows, and Florida's only spring-fed water park, Buccaneer Bay. Service animals are welcome at Weeki Wachee Springs State Park. Service animals are limited to dogs and miniature horses that have been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability. Service animals must remain on a leash or harness and/or under
the control of their handler at all times and be housebroken. If at any
time your service animalสผs behavior is out of control, you will be
asked to remove your service animal from the premises. Service animals are not permitted on the lazy river and water slides at the waterpark.
