I have an exciting collaboration project to announce! 🎉

The Rochester Rotary Sunshine Camp is celebrating its 100th year of serving children and youth with disabilities. There are lots of ways Rotarians in Rochester Rotary, NY are highlighting the camp and supporting this milestone.

One that you will soon see in store shelves is this pasta sauce release by Guglielmo Sauce and Rotarian Paul Guglielmo. A portion of the proceeds from each jar will be donated to the camp. And if you look at the label closely, I added some creative flair to support this release. My paper art was used as the label! 🍅 🌀🥰

I’m elated that I was able to tie my creative craft into support for a cause that is near and dear to my heart.

I’ve been a little silent on recent updates but I do have an exciting project in the works.

This project is collaborating with a fantastic local business, in support of a charity near and dear to me. I can share more in the spring but until then, this is a closeup of my part of my quilling contribution. 🧅🌀👩‍🎨

A few of us “local quilling ladies” have donated a tree for the George Eastman House annual fundraiser. This year the auction is online, and we’d love to have more bids to raise money for this historic place. 🌀🎄

Prepping supply boxes for upcoming private classes. 👩‍🏫🌀🎄❄️

Most groups aren’t able to hold traditional holiday gatherings and lunches (thanks again COVID 🦠 😔), so some are opting to do a fun virtual activity together. I’m happy to be able to help bring some holiday cheer through paper snowflakes and ❄️

has been my escape for a few years. It’s an opportunity to focus on creativity instead of the world around me.

I started teaching at Gilda's Club Rochester, NY this year and loved every class. Before COVID-19, the classes were in person but now we are starting to offer the classes virtually starting in September.

During this coronavirus pandemic I’ve seen many Rochester community organizations jumping in to help, and I felt inspired. Maybe inspiration comes in many forms but I had an idea about a new design. I finished it a few days ago and it is enroute to its next home. 🌽🍇🍒🥦🥕🍊🍓🍍

I have felt helpless in many ways during this pandemic but if I’m able to put paper shapes together and it can support a great organization, then that is one way to help. This finished piece is being donated for a future silent auction or fundraiser and I hope it spreads a little love. ❤️

My first VIRTUAL quilling class is a wrap. 🎉 💻 🌀And it went well! So it may be time for a “next level” class so all my prior students can get a brush up on the basics and learn some more quilling techniques. Stay tuned! ☀️

Packing up the supplies for my virtual Rochester Brainery quilling class. 🌀📦💻While I was prepping for this teaching change it really opened my eyes... and I like it. Out of the 14 students registered, only 4 live in Rochester! Some are out in Buffalo or Binghamton and one is in New Jersey. I already heard from one student who signed up with her college roommate- and they aren’t in the same town right now. I’m so giddy excited with expanding the reach of and sharing this fun craft, virtually. Hopefully I’ll be doing more classes online in the future. Keep on crafting!
