✨ A UNIQUE DANCE + LEARNING EXPERIENCE FOR THE HOMESCHOOL COMMUNITY! ✨

We’re so excited to offer something a little different at DK Dance — a Homeschool Dance Combo Class designed especially for ages 6–10!

This isn’t just a dance class. It’s a creative, hands-on way to bring movement, arts education and learning into your homeschool week!

Dancers will explore Ballet, Jazz & Tap while connecting dance to fun educational concepts through:

🔎 DISCOVER IT — explore different aspects of dance, movement and the arts
📚 LEARN IT — discover dance science, history, terminology, music and more
💃 MOVE IT — bring those ideas to life through movement, technique and choreography

Throughout the semester, dancers will participate in engaging unit studies, activities and movement-based learning that connect directly to what they’re exploring in the studio.

🎭 PLUS — dancers will perform in our Winter Showcase at the end of the semester!

Happy Friday - a lil car talk. 🌞💜💃

Onto season 23 - and I cannot believe it!

What has worked and why has it mattered?
Our community is amazing! Qualified teachers matter. Safety matters. Continued education matters. High standards matter.

And that is the beginning of something great — but not the end of the conversation.

Are our dancers learning how to think?
Are they becoming confident enough to try?
Are they learning resilience when something is difficult?
Are they respecting the art instead of simply chasing tricks, trophies or applause?
Are they learning how to be teammates, leaders and good humans?
Are we giving them roots strong enough to know who they are — and wings strong enough to discover who they can become?

That is the dance education we believe in.

Great dancers? Absolutely.

But we're building something much bigger than that. 💜 it is pretty amazing!

📢NEW ✨ HOMESCHOOL DANCE COMBO CLASS! ✨
Looking for a fun, creative way to add movement + learning to your homeschool week? We’re excited to offer a new Homeschool Combo Dance Class for ages 6–10! 🩰🎶

Students will explore Ballet, Jazz & Tap while also incorporating fun, dance-related learning throughout the semester. Think:

🔎 Discover it — explore different aspects of dance
📚 Learn it — dance science, history, terminology & more
💃 Move it — apply what we learn through movement and choreography

Our goal is to make learning active, hands-on and engaging, with unit studies and activities that connect directly to what students are doing in the studio. This will allow students to discover new ways to connect dance and learning!

✨ Class Details:
📅 Thursdays beginning September 17
⏰ 2:30–4:00 PM
👧 Ages 6–10
🩰 Ballet • Jazz • Tap + Dance-Based Learning
🎭 Winter Showcase Performance included at the end of the semester!
