Whether your dancer wants to pursue a career within the performing arts or simply wants to try something new, our program is tailored to your dancers needs. Our highly trained and college awarded instructors have a wealth of experience in teaching and performing in various styles and disciplines across the globe. We

believe that the skills learned at Roc Academy of Dance are valuable in all walks of life. We pride ourselves in helping to develop confident, polished and professional individuals. We are proud to have our students participate in reputable collegiate summer programs locally and in NYC.

We all start the same way.

"Dance classes near me."

And listen, proximity matters. Ten minutes in the car is a very different life than thirty. Price matters too. We're not going to pretend it doesn't.

But somewhere in that search, there's a question most of us don't think to type:

Who are these people?
Are they qualified?
Are they trained?
Can we trust them?

Because the person in that studio isn't just running a class. They're the one who notices when your child is having a hard day. They're the one deciding whether it's "you're not getting it" or "let's try it a different way." They're teaching your dancer that they're allowed to be seen — and that's a lesson that outlasts every recital.

That's not a small job. We don't treat it like one.

Every Roc Dance faculty member is background checked. Every one is CPR and First Aid certified. And not one of them is just someone who grew up dancing. Former professionals, trained educators, collegiate-level dancers — people who know how to teach it, which is a completely different skill than knowing how to do it.

Ten seasons in, that's the part we've never compromised on.
