Plans are being made for fall and winter art classes, taught by members of Burnett Area Arts. We would like to offer classes people have been wanting to attend, so please reach out for what you might be interested in learning. We have a wealth of creative people who just might be able to find a teacher! The classes will be held on Saturdays at Northwest Passages Gallery and Gifts in Webster, WI

The Burnett Area Arts Group, along with friends from Frederic Arts enjoyed a great outing to Perlick Distillery. It was a warm day to get lost in the beautiful sunflower maze, and the cold refreshments were oh so good! We also celebrated friends Diane and Lloyd’s 43 anniversary! If anyone has recommendations for us to visit, please do.

Artist Rosemary Hultman’s skill levels are amazing and can be seen at NWPassages Gallery and Gifts in Webster and One 10 Art Gallery in Frederic. These are a few photos of her pottery and pastel work as well as many lovely cards of her artwork. Rosemary tends to have a spiritual quality to her work. Don’t miss the opportunity to have a look.

Get a jump on the weekend Farmer’s Markets by stopping at NW Passages Gallery and Gifts Fridays 10-1. Be sure to sign up for the basket give away in the gallery. The winner will be drawn the last day of the market season. Attendance is not required for the drawing.

The Burnett Area Arts group had a studio tour last Thursday with a lunch stop in Voyager Village. The artists who graciously opened their studios were Cynthia Starkweather-Nelson, acrylic artist; Gayle Sheahen, photographer; Candy Witzig, photography, digital design and mixed media; Rosemary Hultman, Potter and pastel artist. The tour was very interesting, and we met several new people to add to the fun!
