🌻 Well, hello there, new friends! 👋

I’ve noticed quite a few new faces around here lately, so I thought I’d introduce myself! And for those of you who’ve been hanging around a while but have no idea who I am… well, it’s probably time. 😂

I’m Kathy, the one behind The Weathered Wreath and Home! That’s me and my crew in the picture. ❤️

By day, I’m a nurse practitioner. By evenings and weekends, I’m a wife, mom, treasure hunter, wreath maker, and professional justifier of things I absolutely did NOT need to buy - just ask my husband. 🤷‍♀️

I have a love for vintage treasures, unique home décor, and taking something someone else overlooked and giving it new life. I sell some of my finds at my booth at The Florida Native, create handmade wreaths and other goodies, and occasionally keep things for myself. (Okay, maybe more than occasionally. 😂)

Around here, you’ll find thrift hauls, yard sale treasures, DIY projects, a little everyday life, and probably a few things that seemed like really good ideas at the time.

I’m not a fancy boutique, and I definitely don’t have it all together. I’m just a girl with a creative streak, a love for old things, and more project ideas than hours in the day!

Whether you’re brand new or have been here since the beginning, I’m genuinely glad you’re here! ❤️

Now I have to know… are you here for the vintage finds, the DIY projects, the wreaths, or just to see what ridiculous thing I bring home next? 😂

🤍 Another $1 Yard Sale Treasure! 🤍

Apparently, I have a talent for finding things I absolutely don’t need but absolutely cannot leave behind. 😂

Today’s little treasure is this gorgeous milk glass hobnail vase, complete with a pretty ruffled rim and raised dot detailing.

Standing about 10 inches tall, it’s simple, elegant, and has all that old-fashioned vintage charm I love!

And did I mention it was ONLY $1?! 😍

I can already picture it filled with fresh flowers, vintage-style greenery, or even a few Christmas stems for the holidays.

Now the real question is… how many vases are too many vases? Asking for a friend. 🤣

🌼 A $1 Yard Sale Find! 🌼

Y’all know I can’t pass up a good yard sale, especially when I find something like this for ONE DOLLAR! 😂

This beautiful vintage floral hurricane lamp stands approximately 14 inches tall and features a milk-glass-style base with a beaded edge, brass-tone details, and a gorgeous floral glass shade.

It has all the charm of a 1970s-era lamp, although I haven’t confirmed its exact age. And the best part? It works! 😍

I love the warm glow it gives off when it’s lit. They just don’t make them quite like this anymore!

Now comes the hard part… deciding whether it’s going in my booth or coming home to stay. 🤣

Friday is for thrifting… and apparently yard sales too! 🛍️😂

I’d say yesterday’s treasure hunting was a success! A little vintage Pyrex, some pretty pottery, a few unusual finds, and of course, some things I absolutely did NOT need but couldn’t leave behind. 🤷‍♀️

Some of these goodies will be making their way to my booth at The Florida Native, and a few may have accidentally found a permanent home with me. Oops! 😉

Now comes the fun part… cleaning everything up, figuring out what I’ve got, and deciding what stays and what goes!

Still feeling under the weather, so absolutely ZERO crafting has happened over here. 🙄

But don’t worry, my brain hasn’t gotten the memo that we’re supposed to be resting. 😂

I’ve been mentally planning my booth for the upcoming outdoor market, rearranging displays in my head, and trying to figure out how THIS pile of treasures is going to turn into something fabulous. 🤦‍♀️

Hopefully I’ll be feeling better soon because apparently I have some work to do!

Tell me I’m not the only one who has 47 projects waiting and keeps bringing home more stuff! 😂
