Meet the hearts behind Old Souls Ink. 🖤
We’re Cameron & Stephanie Jones — high school sweethearts, husband and wife, best friends, business partners, and the owners of Old Souls Ink.
But our story didn’t begin in the tattoo industry.
Before Old Souls, we both spent years building careers in corporate America. Cameron served in the United States Air Force working on F-16 avionics before transitioning into engineering, including a career with Lockheed Martin. Stephanie earned a BBA in Finance and Insurance & Risk Management from the University of South Carolina and built a career across financial planning, banking, insurance, and the automotive industry.
We spent years in very different professional worlds — learning about leadership, systems, customer service, finances, problem-solving, accountability, and what it takes to build something that lasts.
And then God led us somewhere we never expected.
Into the tattoo industry. 😂
Five years ago, we stepped away from the path that looked safe and familiar and took a chance on a completely different kind of future. Looking back, we can see how God used every chapter before Old Souls to prepare us for what we’re doing today.
We never wanted to create just another tattoo shop. We wanted to take the professionalism and standards we learned throughout our careers and combine them with the creativity, individuality, and human connection that make this industry so special.
We wanted a place where people feel welcomed, valued, heard, and cared for — where incredible art and genuine connection exist under the same roof.
Today, we’re incredibly proud that Old Souls Ink is both Veteran-owned and faith-based. Our shared faith is at the heart of our marriage and the way we lead this business. We believe God entrusted us with Old Souls, our team, and the people who walk through our doors — and we take that responsibility seriously.
But one thing has always been important to us:
Our faith shapes how we serve, never who we serve. Everyone has a seat at our table.
Cameron brings the art, creativity, and vision. Stephanie brings the business, operations, marketing, numbers — and keeps approximately 437 plates spinning at any given moment. 😂 Together, we’ve built Old Souls around a pretty simple philosophy:
Purpose over profit.
People over transactions.
Meaning over impulse.
Five years later, we’re incredibly grateful for the team beside us, the clients who trust us with their stories, and the community that continues to support what we’re building.
But we don’t feel like we’ve arrived.
In fact, the vision for Old Souls is bigger today than it has ever been.
We believe there are more people to serve, more opportunities to create, more ways to give back, and a whole lot more ahead for this little business God led us to build.
