was founded as a non-profit corporation which operates out of First Baptist Church, Main St., Waynesville, NC. It offers many things to artists and artists-in-training: Art classes for adults and children in drawing and painting; open studio space for artists looking for a place to work with others; private lessons; an art library of how-to-books and other art books available for check out by the

students; field trips to museums for special shows; an annual Art Show, participation in other local art shows and discounts at Mountain Home Collection art supply and the Great Smokies Creations Gallery/Frame shop.
