🎵 Thurs, April 18: Folkmoot presents The Well Drinkers concert at 7pm, with Appalachian Smoke food truck onsite at 6 p.m.

🎻 Fri, April 19: Don't miss a special night of All-Star Bluegrass music featuring Shawn Lane, Aubrey Haynie, Ron Stewart, Aaron Ramsey, and Darren Nicholson at Haywood Community College's Auditorium at 7 p.m.

🛍️ Sat, April 20: Downtown Waynesville comes alive with the Appalachian True Mountain Market from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.! Explore artisan crafts, live demos, educational displays, and family-friendly activities across Main Street and historic Shelton House. Enjoy live music, axe throwing, antique tractors, and more!

🎨 Sat, April 20 (Evening): Wrap up the weekend with a celebration of modern-day Appalachia at The 37 on Church Street from 5-8 p.m., featuring live music, art activities, and a silent auction of local artisan goods.

COME CELEBRATE TODAY'S APPALACHIA WITH US! Haywood County Arts Council is excited to announce our upcoming spring event, The Haywood Made. This community-driven event celebrates the talent and creativity of emerging local artisans, musicians, and performers while showcasing the importance of the rich Appalachian roots that have inspired so much of our mountain creativity. The Haywood Made will feature a variety of activities and events for all ages. The evening will kick off with a performance by the Maggie Valley Band, a local favorite known for their unique blend of bluegrass and indie rock. Guests will be able to watch and appreciate the beauty and grace of these young performers. During this community event, guests will have the opportunity to participate in line dancing lessons led by professional instructors from the American Ballroom Company dance studio.
In addition to live music and dancing, The Haywood Made will also feature a display of local youth art. This exhibit will showcase the creativity and talent of young artists in our community and inspire others to pursue their artistic passions. The evening will also include a silent auction featuring a variety of handmade goods and services generously donated by local businesses and artisans. All proceeds from the silent auction will go towards supporting the Haywood County Arts Council and its mission to promote the arts in our community. Haywood Made is an exciting event that celebrates the arts, music, and community in Haywood County. We invite you to join us for a night of live music, dancing, art activities, and a silent auction, all while supporting the local arts community. Don’t miss out on this fun-filled evening!
