On this Veteran's Day, we will see lots of FB posts with "thank you for your service" and similar words of appreciation towards current & former service members. Not to belittle these acts of kindness, why not *show* your appreciation in a real way -- make a true & tangible difference in the life of a vet.

SHARE these links with everyone you know, here on Facebook, via email, or whatever social media sites you use. If possible donate $5 or $5000, whatever you are able, to a group of young combat vets making a major impact in the lives of other disabled veterans. If you live in the WNC area, contact them for info on future events and volunteer to help in whatever way you can.

The gallery is empty, & the dust has settled. Gallery Two Six Two is officially closed.

We want to thank all of you -- our artists, local arts community, and loyal customers -- for all of the support you have shown over the past 3 years. We will forever be grateful.

As the info becomes available, we will be updating this page, as well as our website, with where you can find all of our amazing artists' works. Thank you.

As many have already heard, after 3 years of showcasing some of the region's most talented & exciting contemporary artists & craftspeople, we have unfortunately had to make the difficult decision of closing the doors at Gallery Two Six Two.

I want to personally thank all of our artists past & present, each & every customer who has walked through our doors, friends & family, as well as the local community for the wonderful support & encouragement you have offered throughout our time in Waynesville. It has truly been an honor to be a part of this amazing arts community in WNC!

Stay tuned, as we'll be updating you shortly with info on where you will be able to find our artists & their works in the future.

Lots of new works, as well as a few new aartists showing, now is a great time to find new works for your home or office!

Please note that beginning next week, the gallery will be closed on Wednesdays & Sundays.

Over the past week or two, I've had a few people say they had heard that the gallery was closing. Where or how this started, I am unsure but to clear the air -- the gallery is NOT closing!

However, if the thought of us closing bothers you, stop by and see some of the incredible new artists we have added recently & support your local artists by purchasing a unique, one-of-a-kind work of art!

We are back to our summer hours, Monday thru Saturday from 10:30-5:30

The gallery will be closing early today at 4pm to set up for the QuickDraw event at the Laurel Ridge Country Club.

We are proud to have numerous 262 artists participating in this great fundraiser for Haywood Co. Schools art programs. We look forward to seeing you there!
