Grab a seat in one of our fall wheel-throwing classes here at Make Waynesboro Clay Studio! 🙌🍂🍁

We have a fresh round of wheel classes running 6 days a week starting in September, including classes taught by the maker of this beautiful ceramic mug, J Morgan Looney ☕️☕️ Morning, afternoon, and evenings available! Here’s the lineup:

All classes are once per week for 6 weeks.
* Saturdays at 10am or 2pm with MIKAPOTS starts Sept 12
* Thursdays at 6pm with J Morgan Looney starts Sept 10
* Mondays at 6pm with Mika starts Sept 14
* Tuesdays at 6pm with Tall Girl Pottery starts Sept 15
* Wednesdays at 6pm with Erinn starts Sept 16
* Fridays at 10am or 2pm with Erinn starts Sept 18

Coming in October:
* Glaze Design and Surface Treatment with Megan, Tuesdays 5-7pm starting 10/13
* Slab Building with Sarah Blosser , Thursdays 6-8pm starting 10/22

Interested in a cone 10 wood-firing? We have 2 firings planned for the next few months, one in June and one in September. These are open to the public, not just members. This is a fast-fire wood kiln. It fires in about 8 hours. We usually load on Saturday and fire on Sunday. We ask folks to help with the firing for 2 hours on Sunday. This type of wood firing gets subtle results; glazing is generally encouraged. If you've never fired a wood kiln before but are interested in knowing more, sign up or get in touch with questions.
