✨A Little Joy for Our Waynesboro Community ✨

In the wake of yesterday’s heartbreaking events, our hearts are with the children, families, teachers, school staff, law enforcement, first responders, and everyone in our community who has been impacted.

When Character Connections Princess Parties reached out looking for a way to bring a little comfort and joy to Waynesboro’s children, we were honored to open the doors of The Russell Museum and provide a space for our community to come together. ❤️🖤

This Sunday, families are invited to join us for a FREE Princess Storytime & Meet & Greet — a simple opportunity for our children to smile, hear a story, experience a little magic, and be surrounded by a community that loves and supports them.

📅 Sunday, September 6th
⏰ 1:00–2:00 PM
📍 The Russell Museum
518 W Main Street, Waynesboro

There is no cost to attend. We simply ask that you RSVP at the link below so we can prepare to welcome everyone.

We know an event like this cannot take away the fear, grief, or emotions many are carrying right now. But we hope it can provide an hour of togetherness, kindness, and joy for our children — and a reminder to all of our local families that you are not alone. Waynesboro is here for one another!

Our deepest gratitude goes to Character Connections for offering this gift to our community and to the teachers, school personnel, law enforcement, first responders, and so many others who continue to care for and protect our children.

Please share so we can reach any family who may need a little extra love this weekend. 💕

Walter Russell empathized the importance of solitude in nature, our greatest teacher. Let’s take time this weekend and listen deeply to her wisdom and intelligence 🌲🌲🌲

We'll be at GloW Waynesboro tomorrow with Waynesboro Parks and Recreation! Come see us to decorate a t-shirt and pick up a color change cup with a light and glow sticks. We had a great time last year! We'll also have a water station!

Proceeds go to Destination Downtown Waynesboro so we can have fun events like Prism (September 26) and Winterfest (November 28) and support and promote Downtown Waynesboro!
